Grilled Patty Pans

2 med-to-large Patty Pans
1/4 cup Olive Oil
1 tbsp fresh Basil or herb of your choice

Slice patty pans crosswise into 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick slices so they retain their flower shapes. Drizzle with olive oil and fresh herbs. Let sit for 10 minutes or longer.

Place on grill and cook 3-5 minutes on each side until slightly tender, not limp. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve hot.
